Lesson 1 goes through How to find and ID species – part 3; a closer focus on whereabouts to focus a search for an in-depth record of the shore. How to survey using the SACFOR scale – this important addition to surveys helps improve what data we collect from the shore. You will learn more and get a chance to practice. Your data – additional features to add to the shore description requested by NRW and a focus on an MPA to highlight how they generally work. |
You will be introduced to more regulars found on shore as well as further INNS species. Together with more onshore experience, this will hopefully provide greater knowledge and lead you towards feeling ready for further, more in-depth training by way of specialist workshops as part of Shoresearch surveyor Level 3.
