Dolphin Watch is a Ceredigion County Council project used to monitor local marine mammal populations, boat traffic and the code of conduct. Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre has been involved in Dolphin Watch since 2004. 

This training course will cover marine mammal identification, with a particular focus on the Cardigan Bay Big 3, as well as the Dolphin Watch survey methods. Once you have completed the course you will be able to identify the marine mammals typically found in Welsh waters and you will be able to conduct Dolphin Watch surveys.
